Salem Hills High School
Anchored in Integrity • Empowered to Succeed • Focused on the Future
On December 4, 2006 ground breaking ceremonies were held so Salem Hills High School would be able to open its doors to begin the 2008-2009 school year, being the first new high school in the Nebo School District in over 100 years. Salem Hills serves the students living in the Salem, Elk Ridge, Payson, and Woodland Hills communities of Utah. We value a comprehensive education; offering a wide range of academic, vocational, technical, family science, and fine arts courses.
Serving nearly 1,400 students in grades 10 through 12, Salem Hills High School is nationally recognized for excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. US News recently ranked Salem Hills in the top 40 public high schools in Utah and in the top 20% of public high schools national-wide—with a 96% Graduation Rate and 37% of students taking at least one AP Exam. But Salem Hills is much more than just great statistics. It’s a community of learners where everyone has the opportunity to achieve personal, social, creative, and academic excellence. |
